Ήρθε η ώρα να κάνουμε παιχνίδι με την ισότητα και τις ίσες ευκαιρίες και σας παρουσιάζουμε το project “Serve, Set, Empower” που συμμετέχει ο Άθλος Ορεστιάδας.
Ο Α.Σ. Άθλος Ορεστιάδας, μαζί με τους Club for Youth Empowerment KOM 018 (Σερβία), την ομάδα Βόλεϊ Odbojkaški Klub “Desetka” (Σερβία), την ομάδα Βόλεϊ OK FORCA VOLEJ (Βόρεια Μακεδονία) και την ομάδα Βόλεϊ OK PULA – Volleyball club Pula (Κροατία), συμμετέχει στο καινοτόμο Project “Serve, Set, Empower – Προώθηση της Ισότητας μέσω του Βόλεϊ”.
Θα προσεγγίσουμε, θα ερμηνεύσουμε και θα αντιμετωπίσουμε τα ζητήματα των διακρίσεων των φύλων μέσω της ανάπτυξης νέων και καινοτόμων κατευθυντήριων γραμμών για το βόλεϊ, δημιουργώντας μικτές ομάδες με κορίτσια και αγόρια.
Αυτή η πρωτοβουλία θα προωθήσει την ισότητα των φύλων στα ομαδικά αθλήματα και συγκεκριμένα στο βόλεϊ, χρησιμοποιώντας μεθόδους μη τυπικής εκπαίδευσης.
Θα ενδυναμώσει τους νέους μέσω του βόλεϊ παρέχοντας μια συμπεριληπτική και ισότιμη ευκαιρία συμμετοχής, τόσο στα κορίτσια όσο και στα αγόρια, και θα ευαισθητοποιήσει σχετικά με ζητήματα ισότητας των φύλων τις τοπικές κοινότητες, μέσω στοχευμένων εκστρατειών, εργαστηρίων και δραστηριοτήτων που θα περιλαμβάνουν νέους αθλητές, τους γονείς και τους προπονητές τους.
Δραστηριότητες του προγράμματος “Serve, Set, Empower” θα πραγματοποιηθούν στην Σερβία, την Κροατία, την Ελλάδα και την Βόρεια Μακεδονία από τις 01.10.2025 μέχρι το τέλος του 2026. Ενημερωτικές Ημερίδες, Προπονήσεις μικτών Ομάδων, Εργαστήρια, Τουρνουά, Συναντήσεις Προπονητών, πολύ Βόλεϊ και άλλα πολλά !

It’s time to play with equality and equal opportunities, we present to you the project “Serve, Set, Empower” in which AC Athlos Orestiadas participates.
A.C. Athlos Orestiadas, together with the Club for Youth Empowerment KOM 018 (Serbia), the Volleyball team Odbojkaški Klub “Desetka” (Serbia), the Volleyball team OK FORCA VOLEJ (North Macedonia) and the Volleyball team OK PULA (Coatia), participates in the innovative Project “Serve, Set, Empower – Promoting Equality through Volleyball”.
We will approach, interpret and address issues of gender discrimination through the development of new and innovative guidelines for volleyball, creating mixed teams with girls and boys.
This initiative will promote gender equality in team sports, and specifically in volleyball, using non-formal education methods.
It will empower youth through volleyball by providing an inclusive and equal opportunity for participation, for both girls and boys, and raise awareness of gender equality issues in local communities through targeted campaigns, workshops and activities that will involve young athletes, their parents and coaches.
Activities of the “Serve, Set, Empower” program will take place in Serbia, Croatia, Greece and North Macedonia from 01.10.2025 until the end of 2026. Information Days, Mixed Team Trainings, Workshops, Tournaments, Coaches’ Meetings, lots of Volleyball and much more!

We are excited to announce the successful online kick-off meeting of our new Erasmus+ project “Serve, Set, Empower: Advancing Equality Through Volleyball”!
Club for Youth Empowerment 018 (KOM 018) – Serbia, together with partner volleyball clubs Odbojkaški Klub “Desetka” (Serbia), Athlos Orestiadas (Greece) ΑΘΛΟΣ Ορεστιάδας athlos.club, OK FORCA VOLEJ (North Macedonia) Gazeli Volley, and OK PULA – Volleyball club Pula (Croatia), officially started this inspiring initiative aimed at addressing gender inequality through volleyball.
During the kick-off meeting, partners discussed and made plans for upcoming project activities — and we can’t wait to share all the great things coming in the near future!
This initiative will develop guidelines for promoting gender equality within team sports, specifically volleyball, using non-formal education methods; empower youth through volleyball by providing an inclusive and equal opportunity for both girls and boys to participate; and raise awareness on gender equality issues within local communities through targeted campaigns and workshops involving youth, parents, and coaches. Project activities will be organized in Croatia, Greece, North Macedonia and Serbia in the period 01.10.2025 to 31.12.2026.
